The Marvell Embedded Consumer Electronics Solutions comprise solutions for host systems with PCI, MII, and USB system interfaces. A combination of on-chip and/or minimal external memory with embedded CPU provides Wireless LAN host offload capabilities. As all WLAN functionality (and networking stack, if necessary) is implemented on-chip, there is minimal system driver files needed. This allows for easy portability onto a wide platform of Host Operating Systems.
